Modern and safe
The Detention Institute is a unique facility of its kind, the first of its kind in Slovakia. It is designed for 75 patients. These are persons who have been ordered by the court to be placed in a detention facility under Section 81 of the Criminal Code.
The security regime is set up to ensure maximum safety of citizens, staff and the patients themselves.
The facility has medical staff (doctors, nurses, orderlies, assistants), auxiliary staff (THP workers, cleaners) and staff of the Prison and Justice Guard Corps.
